We use the Shared Leadership model- sharing of power and influence, with one person remaining in charge. Shared leadership is developed by being transparent, encouraging autonomy and being open to others' ideas. We do not believe in failure, our attitude is "oh well, that did not work, how else can we do it?" Each teacher has their own unique strengths and interests, through collaboration, we are able to use each strength and interest to creating an optimal learning environment for both kaiako and tamariki! Different teaching styles for different learning styles.
